Serve

Andre Malraux, was a French novelist and politician. He said;

“To command is to serve, nothing more and nothing less.”

It is not a weakness to serve those around us. We should be, within in ourselves powerful, strong, capable and yet choose to serve those given into our care. This mindset is rare and often misconstrued. Going the extra mile and genuinely caring about those around us is not common.

If you operate like this, you will stand out and your team will respond in kind. Having led six companies in diverse industries, have found it engendered loyalty and productivity like nothing else.
